How do Access cards work?
Your personal cards share one account name. A name change updates them all. A card’s company name, company logo and company website become fixed 30 days after creation, including fields left blank. Your other details stay editable. Deleting a card does not restore its allocation.
What happens if I move from Access to Active?
We copy your Access cards into a separate Active collection once. Your originals stay safely hidden while you manage up to 20 Active cards. If Active expires, your original Access cards return and your Active cards are hidden. Resubscribing restores your saved Active collection without copying again. Existing Access links and NFC accessories follow their matching Active copies, then switch back on expiry.
Do I need an NFC accessory?
No. QR and link sharing work without one. Personal Active and Personal Access include NFC accessory attachment. On Free, share using your QR code or link. Paid plans let you connect as many official accessories as you like to your cards. Physical accessories are sold separately.

Before you say hello.
Does the other person need the app?
No. Your card opens in their browser from your QR, link or attached NFC accessory. They can save your contact there.
Can I keep work and personal cards together?
Yes. Personal Access includes three permanent personal card allocations; Personal Active includes up to twenty active personal cards. Business-managed cards use a separate environment in the same app.
Can I change what an NFC accessory opens?
Yes. Detach it in the app, then scan it to attach to another eligible card. You keep the same accessory.
When can I download the app?
Namecards is preparing for public release on iPhone and Android. We’ll add official download links here as each app becomes available.
